The April Art Appreciation visit will be to theCity Art Centre 2 Market Street, Edinburgh EH1 1DE, just opposite the Market Street Exit from Waverley Station on Wednesday 8th April.

There are three different exhibitions taking place at this time:
Out of Chaos: Post-War Scottish Art 1945-2000
Out of Chaos presents a range of artworks from the City Art Centre’s permanent collection, featuring key pieces by William Johnstone, Joan Eardley, Eduardo Paolozzi, Ian Hamilton Finlay, Elizabeth Blackadder and Maud Sulter.
Unmasked: Exploring Scottish Portraiture
Featuring examples of painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking and photography, the exhibition spans almost 400 years of artistic production, from historic portraits by George Jamesone to contemporary works by Sekai Machache.
Mona Yoo | re:set
We are pleased to present a new exhibition by Edinburgh-based artist Mona Yoo. Yoo’s work is driven by extensive on-site research into a specific place, exploring its architecture, use history and physical and anecdotal traces of its past.
