Last month we finished the last section of the Shale Trail, which goes along the Union Canal and it has been decided that for the penultimate walk of the 2024 season, we would continue along the canal from Winchburgh as far as the Park Bistro.  The walk is about 4 and a half miles and approximately an hour and a half but we could take a stroll around Winchburgh Marina and make it a 2 hour walk.

This will be a linear walk so, at least, one car will be needed at the end, depending on how many people are walking.

We'd probably have lunch at the Tally Ho in Winchburgh but I can confirm that later when I know how many people are coming.
